Us Mob and HIV

About Us

Us Mob and HIV

Us Mob and HIV is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It contains information that deals with both men’s and women’s business.

It is a resource produced by the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO) in partnership with the Anwernekenhe National HIV Alliance (ANA). It is a booklet resource the first two editions of the booklet were known as ‘HIV/AIDS and Us Mob’. The Us Mob and HIV booklet now has four editions and has now been developed as this website.

We recognise this resource may not represent all aspects of the diversity within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and cultures. Text from this resource can be changed or adapted to better suit the needs of Indigenous communities.
